T-3 days! Be sure to come out to support your KCSD Panthers and all our local community partners who are participating this year in the parade. Reminders: Parade entries have been instructed that if they choose to throw candy, we prefer they walk or throw as far away from the parade route as possible. This ensures no one is running out in front of the parade line to get candy. No moving cones/barricades: this is to ensure the safety of the parade entries AND the KHS Student Senate group members helping organize everyone. Please plan to park a block or more away from the route. If you plan to drop off someone, do so a block from their designated area. We cannot drive through the parade line. We are all working hard to set up, run through the route and clean up as fast as we can so that traffic is not interrupted for too long! We appreciate you all helping us with this! Go Panthers 💛🖤

Parade Safety
As we inch closer to the 2023 Homecoming Parade, we wanted to share a few reminders. As with anything we do, we always want to have the best experience possible! With that being said, we want to remind all parade goers, kids, parents and parade entries: SAFETY IS OUR MAIN PRIORITY! This means we need to work together as a community to make sure we are being safe for this event to be the best it can be! Parade entries have been instructed that if they choose to throw candy, we prefer they walk or throw as far away from the parade route as possible. One week (& a day) away Go Panthers 💛🖤

Homecoming Parade 2023 is happening on Friday Sept. 22nd at 3pm! The parade route and staging area will be closed starting at 2:20pm so please plan an alternative route if needed! We are looking to create a fun, hyped yet SAFE environment for schools and the community, especially as we celebrate the 85th Anniversary of Ken Locke Stadium. Look forward to seeing Knoxvillians paint the parade route black and gold in support! See you there 💛🖤
