Mrs. Thomas's Kindergarten class read the book Scribble Stones recently. It was part of their PBIS book selection last month. The kids loved it and wanted to make their own to share with the school. They have been waiting for warm weather and it is finally here! Yesterday they hid them on the playground for friends to find and take home. Their purpose is only to bring joy :) They worked hard on them and they are really cute! Check out some of the students who found rocks throughout the day yesterday!
Mr. Murphy’s class has received permission from the Marion Co Conservation Commission park services. They are working with a a very friendly ranger, naturalist Marla Mertz, who is going to come in after we collect some more data. We are measuring grass, height and soil temperature and she’s going to show us how to do some preschool science after we’ve made a couple visits.
This morning Kindergarteners from Mrs. Walter's class got to learn about and play the Xylophone. What a fun way to start the day!
