The 8th grade students in Mr. Uitermarkt's Career Readiness class are doing a unit on obtaining their first job. In this unit they have learned how to apply for a job, what good interview skills are, and participated in a mock interview to help the students be prepared for their first job interview. Recently, 3 local businesses came in to talk about these topics with our 8th graders. Thank you to Fareway, Hy-Vee, and Checkered Flag Concessions for taking time out of their work day to come present to our students. KCSD values our partnerships with the Knoxville business community!
