Thank you to Marion County Bank and their "Report Card" Program for supporting our local schools. Through the funds donated from the Marion County Bank and this program, we were able to bring Youth Frontiers for one day workshops for each of our 5th, 7th, and 9th grade classes. If you bank at Marion County Bank, be sure to choose the Knoxville Schools as your school of choice so they can continue supporting future projects like this.
Each of the full day workshops focused on different core values. The 5th grade focus was on Kindness, the 7th grade focus was on courage, and the 9th grade focus was on respect. Each of these days included large group activities, challenges, and small group time led by our high school junior and senior leaders. Each day ended with individual goal setting time and writing down a personal challenge of how to make your school a better place.
Teamwork makes the dream work!👏 Let’s all come together to keep student drop-off and pick-up smooth, safe, and speedy!

Mrs. Dunkin's 4th Grade Class has been working hard completing their first literacy unit using our new curriculum! Students have talked in depth about personal narratives and what should be included in a great one. Friday, Mrs. Dunkin transformed their classroom into a cozy Starbucks to write the final draft of our 5 paragraph essays. Students enjoyed donuts, muffins, and chocolate "lattes"!

On Thursday, October 3rd join us at 6:15 at The Randy Wilson Track for the ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by the Homecoming Pep Rally at 6:30pm! This event is free to all!
