·       8th graders - Mrs. Sass and Ms. Smith will be coming into your Social Studies class the week after we get back from winter break to go over 4-year plans. Please start thinking about what classes you'd like to take in high school. Graduation requirements can be found on the high school website and going to the counseling department icon. If you need help, please contact Mrs. Sass or Ms. Smith.

 

·       Don't forget to buy your Yearbook! They are currently at their cheapest price of $30. You can buy them online at https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A02392300. 

 

·       Attention 6th and 7th grade students- after winter break, you will be receiving information about the 8th grade Washington DC trip. If you think you might be interested in going, please be sure your parents know about the MANDATORY meeting.  THE MEETING WILL BE WEDNESDAY JANUARY 18TH AT 6:00pm in the KPAC- Knoxville Performing Arts Center.  Please check with your parents and be sure that they have this on their calendar. They should have received an email about this last week! Please talk with Mr. Keefer or Mrs. Finnegan if you have questions!

 

·       Mark your calendar for NO SCHOOL – tomorrow - Wednesday, December 21.  There will be no school starting on Thursday, December 22 through Wednesday, January 4 for Winter Break.  We will see you back on Thursday, January 5.

 

·       KMS Students - Our November and December PBIS reward will be a hypnosis show put on by H3 Hypnosis out of Knoxville.  They will be here January 6.  Each grade level will have their own one-hour assembly.  Stop and see one of your teachers if you have questions.

 

·       See below some events happening for students at the Knoxville Public Library during winter break.

 

Athletics

·       6th grade students interested in participating in Little League – stop in the office or at the 6th grade panther store cart to pick up a flyer with registration information.

Lunch – Chicken strips with mashed potatoes and gravy, hot roll with butter or mozzarella cheese sticks.
