· Our Panther Focus this week is on classroom expectations. When in the classroom, remember to keep voices at the appropriate level. When someone is presenting, they should have your eye contact and full attention and respect. As others share ideas and opinions, receive them with respect, even if you do not agree. Lastly, remember to attend class prepared - with the appropriate materials and charged iPad each day.
· We will have a PBIS raffle Friday. Up for grabs will be a portable charger, an iPad stylus, a Casey's gift card, a yoyo, and gum.
· If you should become ill during the school day and feel you need to go home, in order for the absence to be excused the school nurse or health associate will need to evaluate you. If you choose to contact your parents and bypass the nurse's office, your absence may not be excused.
· The KMS Student Senate decided on the following for Christmas Spirit days – Next week -- December 19, 20 & 21. On Monday, 19th Ugly Sweater Day, Tuesday, 20th Rockin' Red & Green, and Wednesday, 21st Christmas Movie Marathon- dress featuring your favorite character or something for your favorite Christmas movie.
· There will be no school starting on Thursday, December 22 through Thursday, January 5 for Winter Break.
Athletics
· Good Luck to our KMS wrestlers at their meet at Oskaloosa. Please dismiss them at 3:00 today.
· Attention 7th grade boys interested in playing basketball. There will be a sign-up meeting in the gym Wednesday morning. Check in with your homeroom teacher and report to the gym. See Mr. Gramlich with questions.
· Good Luck also to our KMS girls’ basketball teams at their home games today with Cardinal. Game time is 4:30 here at KMS.
· The sign-up meeting 8th grade boys’ basketball will be held on December 15th during their lunch time in the Life Skills room at 11:57. Please bring their lunch to eat in there during the meeting.
