Congratulations to this year's last Orange Frog winners: 8th grader, Zoie Swayne, and PE teacher, Mrs. Snodgrass! They are great representatives of Orange Frogs and spread happiness throughout KMS!!
Any students that have a personal guitar in the music storage room - please make a plan to take them home for the summer before the end of school next week.
The 2024-25 KMS Yearbooks have been distributed if you ordered one! We do have a limited supply remaining for sale. You may purchase one for $35 from the KMS office.
Knoxville Police Department is sponsoring a couple events –
Helmets and Hot Dogs – Thursday, May 22 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Dyer Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds. Bring your bikes for a chekc-up and last year’s helmets for proper adjustment or trade in!
Kid’s Fishing Day – Saturday, June 7 at Marion County Park – Open to kids ages 8 - 17 from 8:00 - 11:00 AM – Free Lunch served with drawings for prizes. Pick up a flyer at the Communication Center.
Reminder – our last day of this school year will be on Thursday, May 22 with a 11:25 dismissal.
Athletics -
Any 7th grade girls that want to play 8th grade volleyball, please scan the QR code on Mrs. Willis's door.
6th and 7th grade girls: there will be middle school open gyms for volleyball from 6-7:30 on Tuesdays starting June 3rd through June 15th.
Former KHS graduate and Division 1 volleyball player Brittany Bacorn will be hosting volleyball camps. There are different skill camps you can sign up for. Please contact the Youth Activities Alliance for details and sign-up.
7th and 8th grade girls basketball meeting for next year will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM in the gym with Coach Wilkins.
