KMS Announcements  Thursday, May 15, 2025 Day 1

  •  All library books are due TODAY

  • Good Luck to our KMS choir members at their concert tonight.  Everyone is invited to attend beginning at 6:30 PM at KPAC.

  • Any students that have a personal guitar in the music storage room - please make a plan to take them home for the summer before the end of school next week.

  • The 2024-25 KMS Yearbooks have been distributed if you ordered one!  We do have a limited supply remaining for sale. You may purchase one for $35 from the KMS office.

  • Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners: 7th grader, Jackson Kelley, and Career Readiness teacher, Mr. Uitermarkt. They bring happiness and joy to KMS!

  • The May PBIS reward will be held on May 21, 2025. Students will have the choice of different activities at the outdoor area or gym at KMS. Activities will include 9 square, tie dying, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, kickball, pickleball, or ping-pong.  If you want to tie-dye, bring a small white item such as a t-shirt, hat, handkerchief, or hand towel --natural fabrics: cotton, rayon, linen or ramie work best; synthetic fibers such as polyester will not absorb the dye.  More information will be coming soon.

  • Summer Driver Education registration with Triple R Driving School.  They are offering 2 sessions.  June and August.  Pickup a form at the Communication Center across from the office for all the registration details.  There is also information for the Training Wheels driver education program to pick up if interested.

  • Students: We have a program here called SKIP THE TRIP. When you turn 14 you may take the DOT Permit test through Mrs. Stevenson in the Media Center then, when you pass you get a receipt to take to the court house. See Mrs. Stevenson to schedule a time for you to take the permit test.
