KMS Announcements Thursday, April 10, 2025 Day 1
THIS WEEK – KCSD students will be taking the statewide assessment called the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP). KMS Testing is from 8:50 - 10:15 daily and we will use the Monday schedule for classes for the remaining days this week.
Starting next week we will go outside for lunch recess, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly. We will follow the same game/activity rotation that we had in the fall. See Mr. Keefer if you have any questions.
Good Luck to our KMS choir students who are participating in the IDCA Honor Choir today in Indianola.
Good Luck to our KMS Mock Trial team who are competing today in Ankeny.
FOUND – some keys – one set looks like a house key on a keyring the other set looks like a moped key. Claim in the office.
Summer Driver Education registration with Triple R Driving School. They are offering 2 sessions. June and August. Pickup a form at the Communication Center across from the office for all the registration details. There is also information for the Training Wheels driver education program to pick up if interested.
Students: We have a program here called SKIP THE TRIP. When you turn 14 you may take the DOT Permit test through Mrs. Stevenson in the Media Center then, when you pass you get a receipt to take to the court house. See Mrs. Stevenson to schedule a time for you to take the permit test.
Athletics -
Good Luck to our KMS boys’ track team as they open their season with a meet at Norwalk. Please dismiss them at 2:30 PM
William Penn College in Oskaloosa is offering a football camp in June for students in grades 2 - 8. Pick up a flyer at the communications center for more information.
Lunch – Walking taco [meat, cheese, lettuce, salsa, sour cream, black olives], potato rounds with cheese or breaded pollock.
