KMS Announcements  Tuesday, April 8, 2025 Day 1

  • THIS WEEK –  KCSD students will be taking the statewide assessment called the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP).  KMS Testing is from 8:50 - 10:15 daily and we will use the Monday schedule for classes for the remaining days this week.

  • Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners: 6th grader, Corrine Kraber, and 7th grade ELA teacher, Mrs. Davis! They are respectful and kind and make KMS a happy place!

  • Summer Driver Education registration with Triple R Driving School.  They are offering 2 sessions.  June and August.  Pickup a form at the Communication Center across from the office for all the registration details.  There is also information for the Training Wheels driver education program to pick up if interested.

  • Students: We have a program here called SKIP THE TRIP. When you turn 14 you may take the DOT Permit test through Mrs. Stevenson in the Media Center then, when you pass you get a receipt to take to the court house. See Mrs. Stevenson to schedule a time for you to take the permit test.

Athletics -

  • William Penn College in Oskaloosa is offering a football camp in June for students in grades 2 - 8.  Pick up a flyer at the communications center for more information.



  • Lunch – Bacon cheeseburger, French Fries, baked beans or Tenderloin sandwich
