KMS Announcements  Monday, April 7, 2025 Day 2

  • THIS WEEK –  KCSD students will be taking the statewide assessment called the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP).  These assessments are developed by Iowa Testing Programs at the University of Iowa for the State of Iowa. The assessments are aligned with the Iowa Core standards and provide a clear and accurate assessment of student learning outcomes. Student growth, proficiency and readiness indicators will be reported. 

Tip for Good Testing Results – Have your Ipad charged and ready to go everyday.

  • Summer Driver Education registration with Triple R Driving School.  They are offering 2 sessions.  June and August.  Pickup a form at the Communication Center across from the office for all the registration details.  There is also information for the Training Wheels driver education program to pick up if interested.


  • Students: We have a program here called SKIP THE TRIP. When you turn 14 you may take the DOT Permit test through Mrs. Stevenson in the Media Center then, when you pass you get a receipt to take to the court house. See Mrs. Stevenson to schedule a time for you to take the permit test.

Athletics -

  • William Penn College in Oskaloosa is offering a football camp in June for students in grades 2 - 8.  Pick up a flyer at the communications center for more information.
