KMS Announcements  Thursday, April 3, 2025 Day 2

  • Attention band and choir students. Band will meet TODAY.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. McBride.

  • Good Luck to our KMS 8th grade choir students who are attending the South Central Conference Vocal Festival today in Cardinal Schools in Eldon.

  • During the week of April 7, KCSD students will be taking the statewide assessment called the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP).  These assessments are developed by Iowa Testing Programs at the University of Iowa for the State of Iowa. The assessments are aligned with the Iowa Core standards and provide a clear and accurate assessment of student learning outcomes. Student growth, proficiency and readiness indicators will be reported.

Tip for Good Testing Results – Make sure to have a good breakfast – help you have good fuel for your brain.

  • Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners: 7th grader, Ian Desplanque, and Mrs. Twila Kennedy. They bring happiness and fun times to KMS every day!
