KMS Announcements  Monday, February 24, 2025 Day 2

• Attention KMS Red Out activities will be happening next week on Monday-volleyball, Tuesday-basketball and Wednesday-dodgeball after school in the gymnasium. Please get your $10 donation turned into Mr. Gramlich this week. 

• Students eligible and interested in the next Driver Ed session with Triple R Driving School – beginning March 23.  Registration forms are available at the Communication Center by the office.  There is also registration information for the Training Wheels Drive Ed program to pick up if you are interested.

• Last chance to guarantee a 2024-25 KMS Yearbook! Order here by February 28!

• Congrats to our staff PBIS recipients for this week – parking – Mrs. Davis and Ms. Schroeder; Treat – Mrs. Versteeg, Mr. Hunn, Mrs. Kingery, Mr. Blake McWilliams and Mr. Kuper.

• Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners, 8th grader Averie Staton and Music teacher Mr. Montell. They both bring happiness and joy to KMS!

Athletics -

• KMS boys’ basketball will make-up the Chariton middle school boys basketball games TODAY.  We are going to split sites though so that the grade traveling to Chariton (7th) can get back here, if they'd like, to watch the Knoxville postseason boys game we'll host that evening. So, 7th at Chariton, 4: 15 PM.  8th here at Knoxville, and we'll also start at 4: 15 PM so that we finish up in plenty of time before the 7: 00 PM Varsity boys game.  The 7th grade should be dismissed from class at 2:50 PM.

  
  

• 8TH GRADE FOOTBALL PLAYERS: There will be an 8th grade signing day event for any 8th grader interested in playing high school football next fall. This will take place on Wednesday, February 26th at 5:30pm in the high school media center. Contact Coach Dunkin if you have any questions or can't make it.
