TODAY will be a band day in preparation for your concert
Good Luck to our KMS band students who will perform in the KMS Band Concert TONIGHT. Everyone is invited to attend. The concert will begin at 6:30 PM at KPAC. Students should arrive in the KMS Band Room at 6:10 pm. Today will be a band day not a choir day. There will also be an extra rehearsal for all 6th and 7th grade band students during 6th period. If you have any questions please see Mr. McBride.
You are also invited to participate in some “dress up” days to send us off to winter break. TOMORROW – Holiday Head to Toe – Holiday PJ’s, Sweaters, Socks, everything.
TOMORROW – the last day before break will be a 2 hour early dismissal and our PBIS celebration. Students will watch a movie in the gym. Students may sit on the bleachers or floor. They may bring a snack, but they can only bring a bottle of water or have water in their water bottle. They can bring a pillow or Squishmallow, but NO blankets. They may sit with their friends. There is a 1 warning system. If students are not following school expectations, they will be moved to an area by a teacher. If their behavior continues, they will be removed.
Mark your calendars for the Winter Break dates – Break will start on Friday, December 20 with a 2 hour early dismissal. Winter break will continue until classes resume on Thursday, January 2. 2025.
Students interested in a theatre experience are encouraged to sign up to be part of the Winter Theatre Experience at KMS 2025. Knoxville Area Community Theatre is offering this activity for free. Sign up forms and more information can be picked up from the Communication Center by the office.
Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners, 6th grader, Alea Davis, and Mrs. Shirley Boyd, one of our fantastic cooks! They spread happiness and cheer throughout KMS!
Athletics -
8th grade boys interested in playing basketball are invited to attend a sign-up meeting on TODAY in the cafeteria after school at 3:35.
Any 7th grade boy who still wants to sign up for boys basketball see Coach Gramlich today or tomorrow. The first practice will be January 2nd after school.
Any 6th grade student interested in signing up for Knoxville Little League please have your parents use the link that follows. Registration begins January 7th- January 27, 2024. Please register at
