KMS picture retake day is next week – Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Any staff and students who were absent on picture day should plan to have their picture taken tomorrow. If you want to have your pictures retaken please be prepared to go when your class is called. This will happen right away in the morning.
There will be a student council meeting TODAY during the 4th hour.
Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners, 7th grader, Esaak Dovganyuk and 7th grade math teacher, Mrs. Liautaud! They have spread happiness and kindness throughout KMS!
Fall driver education class information is available at the Communication Center by the office. Deadline is this week. Classes begin – Sunday, October 27, 2024

Athletics -
Good Luck again to the KMS Cross Country team as they compete at the South Central Conference Meet at Centerville. Please dismiss the runners at 2:00.
There will be a basketball open gym for any boy in grades 6-8 on Sundays from 5: 30 to 7: 00 PM in the Middle School ++gym. Students should enter/exit the facility using the District Office doors.
7th grade girls interested in playing basketball scan the QR code on Mrs. Peden's door. 7th grade girls basketball player/parent meeting after school TODAY at 3:45 in Mrs. Peden's room.
There will be a 10-15 min meeting this Friday October 18th at 3:30 in Mr. Hudson's for any 7th or 8th grader wanting to go out for KMS Wrestling. Please see Mr. Hudson if you can not attend and would like to go out.
The Rec Center swim team registration is open. Information sheets are available at the KMS Communications center. Registration deadline is October 28 at 4:00 PM. Prerequisites: must be 6 years old, take level 2 of KRC swim lessons or swim 25 yards supervised by an Aquatic supervisor. Practices will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Did you know? – there is a strength and conditioning program after school (on days we have school) that is open for any student to participate in. Students should show up to the weight room at 3:30 PM and the program ends around 4:15 PM. No sign-up is needed; just show up.
Lunch – Chicken sandwich or spicy chicken sandwich, ranch potato wedges, jello cake or mac and cheese.
