Picture day for KMS is Thursday, September 19. If you didn’t get an order form check with the office. If you need a second form for a second parent please come to the office to pick one up.
Homecoming celebrations are fast approaching – The KHS Student Senate group is offering tattoos for the week of Homecoming to all K-8 students this year! Students received a ziplock baggie with an order form from their Homeroom Teacher. If they wish to purchase tattoos, please fill out the form. Put the form AND your money back in the baggie and have your student return the baggie to their teacher! All orders are due no later than Wednesday Sept. 25th at 3:30pm., Please do not hesitate to contact me at student.senate@kcsd.k12.ia.us. We appreciate your support and Go Panthers!
All KMS students will be voting on Homecoming Spirit Dress Up Days during Homeroom this Wednesday, September 18.
There will be a short Student Council Meeting on TODAY, during the 7th Period.
Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners 8th grader, Myrian Moreno, and our 6th grade Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Rasco. They have demonstrated kindness and bring happiness to KMS every day!!
Fall driver education class information is available at the Communication Center by the office.

Athletics -
Good luck to our KMS football teams in their games today against Chariton. The 7th grade will be playing at home. The 8th grade will travel to Chariton for their match on the gridiron. Please dismiss the 8th grade team at 2:45.
Good luck also to our KMS cross country team in their competition today at Oskaloosa. Please dismiss the runners at 2:15.
