KMS Announcements Day 2

Our HS drama club will hold their presentation of “Once Upon a Mattress” this weekend — March 1-3 at the KPAC. Tickets are available at the link at the end of the announcements.
Good Luck to Noah Bauer, Jason Kaplan and Triton Coram who are KMS students who will be part of the performance.
KMS Students - please plan to take your iPad and charger with you to homeroom on Tuesday. We will be doing iPad checks with your homeroom teacher that day. If your charger is in the iPad cart, you will not need to get it out of the cart and take it with you, just let your teacher know it is in the cart in the media center.
Knoxville Community Schools will be holding parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday, March 6, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm and Thursday, March 7, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm.
School will be dismissed two hours early on both days.
There will be no school on Friday, March 8 as this is the start of our spring break. KCSD will not have school the week March 11 through March 15. Classes will resume on Monday, March 18.
SKIP THE TRIP — Remember — DOT permit testing can be done here at KMS through the Skip the Trip program.
Make arrangements with Mrs. Stevenson in the media center if you are interested in taking your drivers permit test.
You need to have a permit before you can take the driver ed class.

Central College is proud to present a youth summit on leadership this summer. We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our local youth! This is for students who are currently in 6th
– 11
th
grades.
Pick up a flyer with all the details at the Communications Board out side the KMS office.
Athletics —
There will be a sign up meeting for girls interested in 7th-8th grade track on Tuesday the 5th. We’ll meet right after school in the gym.
