KMS Announcements         Day 1

Tuesday, February 27, 2023 

  • Red Out activities continue THIS week on TODAY and TOMORROW. It is not to late to donate and play. See Mr. Gramlich with any questions. 

  • Congratulations to the team of Addi Williams, Skylar Ramsey, Naomi Bacon, Mae Mikesell, Rylee Reynolds, and Reagan Sinclair for winning the Red Out Volleyball Championship. Thank you to all who donated and played yesterday.  

  • Knoxville Community Schools will be holding parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday, March 6, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm and Thursday, March 7, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm.

     

    School will be dismissed two hours early on both days.

     

  • There will be no school on Friday, March 8 as this is the start of our spring break.  KCSD will not have school the week March 11 through March 15.  Classes will resume on Monday, March 18.

  • Attention Movie Making Club! Now that K-ACT has finished their show, we will be returning to having Movie Making Club on Thursday after school until 4:00

    . If we need to move dates or if we are adding a date if we need extra time, this will be in the announcements. If you have any questions, email Ms. Pleggenkuhl (allison.pleggenkuhle@kcsd.k12.ia.us).

  • The Knoxville Public Library will be having

     

    Chess Hour at the library every Wednesday after school in February from 3:45 -5:00 PM for any KMS students that are interested.

     

    This is open to students in grade 3 through 8.

  • SKIP THE TRIP — Remember — DOT permit testing can be done here at KMS through the Skip the Trip program.

     

    Make arrangements with Mrs. Stevenson in the media center if you are interested in taking your drivers permit test.

     

    You need to have a permit before you can take the driver ed class.

  • Central College is proud to present a youth summit on leadership this summer. We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our local youth! This is for students who are currently in 6th
