Wednesday, February 21, 2023 

  • Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners: 6th grader, Ellyson Hoch, and our Band Director, Mr. McBride. They both have spread happiness and positivity throughout KHS and make our school a better place to be!!

  • Red Out activities are after school next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Please donate to a great cause and support the American Heart Association. See Mr. Gramlich with any questions. 

  • The Knoxville Public Library will be having

     

    Chess Hour at the library every Wednesday after school in February from 3:45 -5:00 PM for any KMS students that are interested.

     

    This is open to students in grade 3 through 8.

  • For any students eligible and interested in taking Driver Education — registration forms for the new session beginning March 24 can be picked up at the Communications Center by the office.

  • SKIP THE TRIP — Remember — DOT permit testing can be done here at KMS through the Skip the Trip program.

     

    Make arrangements with Mrs. Stevenson in the media center if you are interested in taking your drivers permit test.

     

    You need to have a permit before you can take the driver ed class.

  • Central College is proud to present a youth summit on leadership this summer. We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our local youth! This is for students who are currently in 6th

     – 11

    th

     grades.

     

    Pick up a flyer with all the details at the Communications Board out side the KMS office.

Athletics —                                   

  • Any 7th or 8th grade girl who would be interested in playing tennis is invited to attend the tennis meeting at 3:45 in the high school media center this Friday, February 23rd.

Our high school drama club will be performing this year's musical - Once Upon a Mattress - on March 1-3 in KPAC.
