KMS Announcements         Day 2

Tuesday, January 30, 2023

  • Our Panther Focus this week is on treating peers with kindness.  There are a lot of different ways this can happen.  Our words and our actions make a difference every hour of every day.  Take time to make a positive impact on others around you each and every day.  This week - set a goal to make at least one positive impact on a peer each day while you are at school.
  • We will have a PBIS raffle on Friday.  Winners will be drawn in the afternoon.  Be sure to get your ticket entered!
  • Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners, 8th-grader Gabi Giesken and 8th-grade science teacher, Mr. McWilliams. They have demonstrated the qualities of an Orange Frog by being kind, spreading happiness, and making KMS a positive place to be.
  • Attention 6th graders::  Our next fun night will be this Friday, February 2, from 3:30-5:00 PM at KMS.  We will have activities in the gym similar to our last fun night.  Nine-square, bag toss, and ping-pong will be available.  We will also run a dodgeball tournament again.  Teams will be formed at fun night just like we did in the fall.  Entry is free.  Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase for $1 each.  Please see Mr. McNeill or Mr. Keefer if you have any questions.
  • Attention 7th & 8th graders:  We will have our KMS Dance this coming Friday, February 2, from 5:30-7:00 PM.  The format will be slightly different.  The dance will be held in the KMS cafeteria.  We will also have 9-square and basketball available in the gym as an activity option.  The entry fee for the dance is $3.00.  Pizza and drinks are available for $1 each.  Please see Mr. McNeill or Mr. Keefer if you have any questions.
