KMS Announcements         Day 1

  • Winter Theatre Experience 2024 for KMS students — If you like to act, sing, dance, or make sets, we’ll be meeting after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 until 5:00 pm starting on January 16th.  You will need your parent or guardian’s permission to participate.  Pick up a packet with all the details at the Communications Center outside the office.  The parent information meeting has been cancelled for tonight and rescheduled to Thursday, January 11 at 7:00.  This will start on Tuesday, January 16 for Students. 

  • Our Panther focus this week is on respect.  Respect can come in many forms.  It is important to respect yourself and also respect others.  Respect yourself by making good decisions and establishing positive habits.  You can respect others by treating them kindly with your words and actions.  It is OK to disagree with the thoughts and opinions of others, but we can still show respect through that disagreement.
  • We will have a PBIS raffle on Friday.  Be sure to get your entry in for a chance to win!

Congratulations to our staff PBIS winners for this week — Parking — Mrs, Matthias and Mr. Montell; Treat — Mr. Schnieders and Mrs. Kaplan.

For any students eligible and interested in taking Driver Education — registration forms for the new session beginning March 24 can be picked up at the Communications Center by the office.

  • span class="Apple-converted-space">  KMS 3rd quarter classes will begin on Tuesday, January 16.
  • Check out the lost and found items on the tables by the office Communication Center.  You may be misusing something important.  

Athletics —                                                                                                                                     

  • Any 6th grade students interested in playing for Knoxville Little League this spring — Registration information flyers are available at the Communications Center across from the office.  ON Line registration begins this week through the end of January.
  • Attention all 7th and 8th graders MS weight lifting will start Tuesday, January 9th after school.
