- Like to write? Like history? Here's your chance to win $5,000! The VFW's Patriot's Pen essay contest is for sixth, seventh and eighth graders. The essay encourages you to examine America's long history, along with your own experiences in modern American society by answering this question: How are you inspired by America? Athletics —
- Reminder to all 7th and 8th wrestlers. Practice starts Monday Oct 23 after school. It will be over by 5:00. Make sure to have running shoes . Get your physicals and needed paperwork turned into the office.
- KMS students interested in swimming are invited to join the Stingrays - Knoxville Swim Team. Registration is OPEN from now, until Friday, November 10th for ages 6-18. To get registered, stop into the Rec Center (800 South Park Lane) and fill out a registration form. Program Cost: Rec Center member $94, non-member $150 [Swim cap, suit, goggles are added costs]. Practice starts on Monday, November 6. More information is available in the office.
