KMS Announcements Day 1

- It is HOMECOMING week! Reminder for the rest of the week: Thursday —Twin Day and Friday — Black and Gold/School Spirit Day.
- This is a reminder...if you want to sign up for dodgeball...the deadline is 3:30 this afternoon. No exceptions.
- There will be an early dismissal on Friday at 2:00 for the parade.
- Staff don't forget to record your student participation for HOCO dress up days first thing- first hour- each morning this week.
- Our Panther Focus this week is on showing our Panther Pride. It is homecoming week this week. There are many different ways we can show our Panther Pride and be involved. Take pride in being a Panther and enjoy the week in a positive way!
- We will have a PBIS raffle on Friday. Be sure to get your ticket entered by Friday morning.
- 6th grade will be having a field trip to the Knoxville Airport on Friday September 29. They will tour the airport and see pilots practicing for the airshow on Saturday. More information will come on release and return times.
- Mark your calendar that KMS & KHS picture day is Wednesday, October 4.
- Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog Winners: 7th grader, Aldair Vasquez-Santos and to our 7th-grade science teacher, Mrs. Finnegan. They have shown kindness to others at school. They have also spread positivity at KMS and have helped those who need it.
- Students eligible for Driver Education Class take note: The fall classroom session will begin on Sunday, October 22nd. Stop in the office to pick up registration information and form.
Athletics —
The 7th & 8th football games that got weathered out today against Newton will be made up on TOMORROW. 8th grade will play 2 games at Newton [Dismiss at 2:35] and 7th grade will play 1 game at home.

Lunch — Chicken sandwich or spicy chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, cheesy broccoli.
