KMS Announcements Day 1

- Reminder: TODAY is the last day to turn in your entry for the Yearbook cover contest. Please turn it into the office or get it to Mrs. Hermsen.

- Next week is HOMECOMING week — Here are the KMS dress up dates for you to plan ahead — Monday - Pajama day; Tuesday — USA day; Wednesday — Jersey Day; Thursday —Twin Day and Friday — Black and Gold/School Spirit Day,
- We will have our FIRST PBIS RAFFLE on Friday. As a reminder, students are allowed ONE entry into your raffle box each week. Up for grabs in the raffle will be an assortment of surprise items this week.
- Our Panther Focus this week is on the 10-5 Rule. Remember, within 10 feet of another person, acknowledge them with a smile. When you are within 5 feet of another student or adult, take the time to acknowledge them verbally with a hello or a kind word. Let's take time to make a positive impact on those around us at KMS each and every day.
- Congratulations to our KMS Orange Frog winners of the week: 6th-grader, Kimberly Becker and 7th-grade math teacher, Mr. Pearson. An orange frog is someone who is kind to others, helpful and respectful, and spreads positivity throughout KMS!
- Students eligible for Driver Education Class take note: The fall classroom session will begin on Sunday, October 22nd. Stop in the office to pick up registration information and form.
Athletics —
- Good luck to our KMS football teams in their games today against Charlton. The 7th grade will be playing at home with the 8th grade on the road to Charlton for their games. Please dismiss the 8th grade at 3:00.
- Good luck to the cross country team today at their meet in Oskaloosa today. Please dismiss the runners at 2:15.
