KMS Announcements         Day 2

  • We still have Yearbook on sale for $35. You can pay and get one in the office.
  • Congratulations to this week's Orange Frog winners, 8th grader, Addi Dunkin and special education teacher, Mrs. Kingery. They have demonstrated kindness and positivity and what it means to be an Orange Frog at KMS. 
  • span class="Apple-converted-space">  If you have questions, email Mrs. Kinnamon or stop in to see Mrs. Stevenson.
  • GSA club will meet TODAY. It will be a combined GSA with the high school GSA club. We will be in room 124 at the high school. Meet in the cafeteria and we can all walk over there together.
  • Our May PBIS celebration will be Tuesday, May 23 at SmashPark in Pella.  Students will be able to play pickle-ball, foosball, shuffleboard, darts, bags and many other games. There are also arcade games available, but they require a pass which may be purchased for $6.00.  A snack bar will be available for students to purchase snacks. Nachos and Flatbread will be available for $5 each, Fries & Tots for $2.00 each.  Drinks will be $2.00 and include free refills. Students will be expected to follow our middle school rules, treating the facility, the staff and each other with respect.

Athletics —

  • Any 8th-11th grader interested in trying out for the 23-24 Knoxville Dance Team should e-mail coach Devin Dunkin. This does not mean you HAVE to tryout, but will make sure you receive all tryout information.
  • There will be a meeting for any student interested in running cross country next year on Friday morning during homeroom. This includes any 8th grader planning on running high school cross country next year. Check in with your homeroom teacher and meet by at the tables outside of Mr. Kuiper's room. 
  • For all 6th and 7th grade girls that want to play middle school volleyball next year. Please stop into Mrs. Willis room with your iPad by the end of the day Friday.
  • Here is your invitation to Kid’s Fishing Day on Saturday, June 3 at Marion County park.  Flyers are available to pick up on the “Lost and Found” table if you want more details.
