KMS Announcements Day 1

- Our Panther Focus this week is on being your best version of yourself. It is TESTING WEEK! Focus on getting adequate sleep each night, eating breakfast in the morning, and focusing and giving your very best effort each day on your ISASP tests. Let's have a great week of testing at KMS!
- We will have a PBIS Raffle Friday. Up for grabs will be an iPad pen, sunglasses, a gift certificate to Casa Grande, and a stylus for iPad use.
- Good Luck to our KMS Knowledge Bowl team as they compete today in the Finals in Ankeny today.
- 6th grade honor choir participants stop in the office to pick up a schedule for Saturday’s event.
- A reminder that ISASP testing continue each day through FRIDAY [4-21-23]. Remember to charge your IPad and update to version 16.3 if possible. If you have trouble updating, you will need to remove some items to free up memory space on your IPad for the update.
- Because of testing we will run a Monday schedule ALL WEEK. Check into your testing room right away in the morning. 1st period will start around 10:00 Announcements will be emailed and not read over the intercom for the rest of this week. ISASP testing week (running 2 hour late start schedule, will be testing 8-10 am) span class="Apple-converted-space"> Friday, April 21: Science test (just 8th grade)
Athletics —
- Good luck to our KMS track teams at their meets today. The girls will be traveling to Grinnell to compete and should be dismissed at 2:20. The boys will be hosting their own Panther relays at the Randy Wilson Track beginning at 4:30 PM. Participating schools will be — Knoxville, Chariton, Grinnell, Indianola, Newton, Oskaloosa, PCM, and Pella.

Lunch – Walking taco with — meat, cheese, lettuce, salsa, sour cream — jumbo potato rounds or breaded pollock.
District Events –
- Varsity girls golf at Oskaloosa
- JV and Varsity boys tennis at Bloomfield
- JV and Varsity girls tennis at home against Davis County
- Varsity girls track at Newton
