Panther Pride Focus
Everyone wants to feel like they belong. To feel like they’re part of something bigger than themselves. High school is no different, but here’s the truth: a lot of students spend four years here without ever stepping into a club, sport, or activity that truly sparks their interests.
This week’s Panther Pride Focus is a challenge: find something that interests you, and dive in. At KHS, we’ve got options everywhere; clubs, teams, activities, and groups. With so much variety, there really is something for everyone.
Why bother? Here are three reasons that matter:
1. You’ll meet people who share your interests.
Seeing familiar faces in the hallway is one thing, but working toward a common goal, laughing together at practice, or brainstorming in a club meeting, that’s how real friendships start.
2. It sets you up for the future.
Colleges, jobs, and internships don’t just look for good grades. They want people who get involved, stay curious, and show commitment. Your interests can be your edge.
3. It makes your time matter.
Instead of letting free hours slip by, activities give you a way to spend time on something that excites you, challenges you, and helps you grow outside the classroom.
These are just a few reasons, but the real one is personal: what interests you? Go find it, get involved, and make the most of your time at KHS.
Have a great week, and as always, GO PANTHERS!
