   PANTHER PRIDE FOCAL POINT

The word for this week’s Panther Pride Focus is Priorities.  A Priority can be defined as; a thing/idea that is regarded to be more important than another.  While you can have many different things that you find important.  When you properly prioritize items you begin to place them ahead of or behind others based on how important they are to you and what it is you want to accomplish.  Think about this… Some students claim they want to be successful in the classroom, but “forgot” to bring a pencil, a book, or their work to class… Some athletes claim they want to be the best on the court or field, yet “forget” their workout clothes, gym shoes, or other equipment.  I’m sure one of these examples has happened to many of you.

Think about that and then answer this; When was the last time you “forgot” your phone at home?  And that right there, my friends, is what we call Priorities.  If you truly have your priorities in order, you won’t forget those things that matter.  Have a great week Panthers and take some time to prioritize your life! Go Panthers

Quote of the Week

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities”

- Stephen Covey
