Registration for the 2013-2014 School Year
Face to Face registration for the 2013-2014 school year will take place on Monday, August 5 at the Knoxville High School from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Welcome to the Knoxville School District web page.  We are proud of the hard work and achievements of our students and staff.

Our students experience a wide array of opportunities in our classrooms and in school-sponsored activities. We provide educational programs designed to meet the needs and interests of all students.  Elementary students receive a strong foundation in reading and math; high school students earn college credit in numerous classes; all students in grades 6-12 are given a laptop computer for their use during the school year.

Staff members are dedicated to our students and to providing individual help on an ongoing basis. Brian McNeill was recently selected as Iowa's Middle School Principal of the Year.  Matt Heston (high school math) was one of three finalists for Iowa's Teacher of the Year.

We provide a wide variety of activity programs for our students - from Camera Club to Jazz Band, from football to bowling, students have opportunities to be active.

We are proud of our schools and our community.  Knoxville's citizens and business owners are very supportive of our school, as evidenced by our outstanding academic, athletic, and fine arts facilities.

Visit our web page; learn more about the opportunities for student success available in the Knoxville School District.

Sincerely,

Randy A. Flack, Superintendent
