The Knoxville Community School District collaborated with Marion County Public Health Department to provide a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for district staff on Tuesday, February 9.
Through the clinic, 213 KCSD staff received the first dose of the vaccine. The second dose is scheduled to be delivered to district staff on Thursday, March 11.
“We would like to thank the team at Marion County Public Health for running this vaccination clinic. They have been such an incredible partner and resource for KCSD and the entire Knoxville community during the pandemic,” said Cassi Pearson, KCSD Superintendent. “This first round went very smoothly, and our staff members were thrilled to have the opportunity to receive the vaccine. We look forward to the next round in March."
