The Knoxville Community School District English language program serves students from diverse cultures and diverse language backgrounds. The program serves students whose first language or primary language is not English. We strive to help students become successful in the school setting, while developing proficiency in the English language. We are invested in the success of all students and provide this through persnalized instruction and collaboration with teachers to develop a perfect academic package for all students. 

Goal: 

• We enable students to develop academic skills while developing proficiency in the English language. 
• We provide support and insturction to build proficiency in English in the areas of speaking, listening, reading comprehension, and writing. 
• We empower students to succeed and become successful in a global society.
