Welcome to Northstar Elementary!
Our vision at Northstar is:  Meeting the needs of all who enter.

Northstar Elementary has over 500 students in grades third through fifth. Our class size is typically 22-25 students per classroom with a hard-working and outstanding staff.

Northstar highly encourages parent participation.  Working together as a team, student-teacher-school, is very powerful.  At all times, please feel free to talk and work with your child’s teacher(s), the guidance counselor, and myself to help your child achieve their personal best.  We ask that you give your children experiences and chances to learn at home, as well as to read with them and show your interest/excitement in their learning. At Northstar Elementary, we strive to instill a desire for doing our best and becoming life-long learners.  As educators, we realize the value of being life-long learners ourselves. The staff has been highly trained in literacy and mathematics and will continue to look for ways to further expand our knowledge about teaching all children.

Be Positive, Be Yourself, and Dream Big,

John Keitges, Principal
