á      KMS Students here are some safety reminders as the weather becomes nicer this spring – Be alert when crossing the streets, especially Hwy. 14 and use the cross walk.  Please remind your parents that they are to drop you at the bottom of the yellow rails at the student drop off point.  We are having a lot of backup and congestion to the street traffic by KMS.  Please be mindful of our rules and follow them.  Also, all 6th & 7th graders are to wait behind the crosswalk area until the bell rings.  This is also a rule that must be followed.  These reminders are just for safety of KMS students and staff.

á      Also, remind you parents of a calendar change – We will have a full day of school on Friday, April 19 – this is a snow make up day.

á      General Music students: please bring computers and headphones to music class Thursday and Friday.

á      Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade girlÕs basketball teams as they finish their season tonight against Pella.  The 7th grade plays here at KMS while the 8th grade takes to the road

á      Basketball season is ALMOST over.  Finish the season with a burst of energy!!!!!  Take a nice break when it is finished!!  With all of this really cold weather and snow, it's hard to believe SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER.  Middle school girls' track will start in about a month.  Just in case we need to order additional sweats or uniforms, we need to have an idea of how many girls are interested in participating in middle school girls' track.  Please pick up a track sign-up form in Miss Kuntz's room or outside Mr. Timm's room.  Physical forms, code of conduct forms, and emergency contact cards can be picked up at the school office or outside Mr. Timm's room.

Birthdays Maggie Leavitt and Abby Davis.
